Amazing
Don Cheadle is a bad ass, and he plays one in his new Showtime hit “House of Lies”. I just caught up by watching the first 2 episodes (Ep 3 airs sunday night) and I can’t get enough of it. The always sexy Kristen Bell plays opposite Cheadle and she’s rockin a little rougher, dirtier character, and I like it. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already. Airs Sunday nights at 10E/9C on Showtime.

Ocean’s Fourteen - I know everybody says it’s not happening, but I can still dream. I say bring Julia back and let her have a roll, but this time not herself like she was in 12… The hardest part will be to replace the amazing Bernie Mac. I think that there’s really only one choice, and that’s Ced… I think you have to hit the story point that ‘Frank’ has died and you need to pay homage by having ‘Danny’/’Linus’ basically say that, “We can’t do it without Frank”, and have ‘Rusty’ introduce Ced as the replacement. Then it’s time to bring a little love interest into the picture for Linus, and I think that’s Blake Lively… She’s hot, she’s a bad ass, and, if Matt can keep the weight off, I think they would play decently off each other… Now I know that’s kinda going against the set-in-stone ‘Ocean’s’ series blueprint, but change is good… Now to go RIGHT BACK to the blueprint, you’ve got to have the owner of whatever fine establishment the gang is going after… I like Laurence Fishburne… I don’t know if he would accept the part, but it’d be cool if he did… It’s almost an extension of his role in “21”, except he owns the casino(s). For the story line, I’m thinking your standard issue Casino heist, except this time we’re in Europe, somewhere. This will allow for an expansion of ‘Basher’s’ role since they would be in “his territory”. ’Rusty’s’ small time Casino is getting pressure from Fishburne and the gangs gonna go in and hurt his casino so that Rusty can keep his open and this will also pave the way for ‘Terry Benedict’ to move onto the European scene. In keeping with the tradition, ‘Benedict’ will have to get screwed over in the end, somehow, but that’s just shoe leather. I think it can work… Mr. Soderbergh, if you agree, you know where to find me.
